PORTALINDO.CO.ID, Not for development to improve the welfare of society, but now the OPM gang has shot 1 civilian, Mr. Jainul, located in Mulia, Puncak Jaya Regency on Thursday (30/5/2024).
The resident was shot dead by OPM with a gunshot wound to the head at night around 7 PM local time.
“OPM always wants bloodshed and wants people to suffer. They are criminals against humanity,” said Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Lieutenant Colonel Inf Candra Kurniawan when confirmed.
“Indeed, the OPM is a group of criminals who want Papua to decline,” added Candra.
Regarding this incident, Kapendam said that the TNI would continue to act firmly to protect and serve the community.
“The community must be protected. For this reason, the TNI continues to act firmly and be present for the community so that the community gets health services, education and health workers, teachers and all parties can work for the community,” said Candra.
As previously reported, the incident began when the victim left his house on Thursday (30/5) using a motorbike at night. However, when he arrived in front of his relative’s house, OPM suddenly shot him in the head, causing the victim to die.
